Thanks for leaping, Pope Gregory!

Merry March!

How did you spend your extra day? Mine and Benny's couldn’t have unfolded more rosily as we triumphed with a tremendous And On the 366th Day at the Luckman Fine Arts Complex’s Intimate Theatre. We extend gratitude to all the leapers who shared the sold-out evening with us, particularly our guest contributors Bella HicksNina HerzogJonnie ReinhartJohn Schroeder, mom Valerie Perri, and especially percussionist Spencer Inch, who elevates our material and musicianship, plus Sam Slosburg who designed our jungly, quirky world. Check out BroadwayWorld’s photo flash of the bonanza, and read Stage Scene LA’s glowing review—thanks Ken Werther!

Our next venture invites Benny and I back to New York for two performances of All Aboard! the Train of ThoughtMondays March 23 and 30, 7:30p at Club Cumming  Benny and I have played countless times at this East Village gem with Jonnie Reinhart and A Queer Cabaret, though we’ve never brought a full show of originals there. Our first show will feature in his J-B debut David Lamoureux (!) on percussion and vocals, while for the second the stalwart Spencer returns after adroitly complementing both Musik! Fantasie! and 366th Day in LA. The club is darling though not capacious, and seats have already sold—reserve now before you’re too late! If you enjoyed 366th Day and know a New Yorker who may dig us, please don’t hesitate to refer them!

Now Benny and I breathe…for a day or so…before we begin prep for another collaboration with the LA Phil—this time, Sondheim!!! Stick around for more on that!

Love,

Jack
