Arranging–Orchestrating

Pliable arranger-orchestrators, Jack & Benny co-curated Musik! Fantasie! Revolution!, a Weimar Germany cabaret for the LA Phil’s 2020 Weimar Festival. They co-produced holiday albums by Pia Toscano and Bethany Joy Lenz (Poets’ Road Records), as well as material for Lifetime’s Snowed Inn Christmas. The Lipsons have arranged and written special material for comedian Barbara Dixon as well as concerts throughout California, New York, and Portland, Maine for drag queen Jonnie Reinhart (A Queer Cabaret), Nina Herzog, and their mother. Separately Jack has arranged-orchestrated Mark Saltzman’s Alice Formerly of Wonderland, Another Roll of the Dice (world premiere North Coast Rep) and Benny the Piano Men series for California Center for the Arts Escondido.
