But faux-travelese aside, Benny and I are eager to start the engine for another wild ride at Birdland! A week ago we returned from a vacation throughout the Atlantic coast—as far as Prince Edward Island, Canada—but we’ve since buckled up and down to rapidly construct our upcoming engagement, featuring familiar “hit” originals, 2 completely brand-new tracks, re-imagined arrangements, and of course all polished with our signature sibling shtick. Along the journey, guest interpreters will help conduct the freight, and we ultimately hope the presentation gets your gears turning. The only part missing before we can open is our precious passengers, you! Please reserve your seats as soon as you feel comfortable; the debut sold very well...don’t want to relegate anyone to STANDBY.
After Birdland, All in the Family co-starring mom Valerie Perri plays one night only at Portland, Maine’s Good Theater at St. Lawrence Art Center Wednesday, October 22, then another L.A. reading of our musical revue Brainstorm, whose inaugural presentation a few weeks back blissfully flooded mine and Benny’s living room.
